It’s time to completely forget your past.
It’s absolutely impossible for anything you did in the past, to affect you today.
Your past is gone, forever, so it’s time to leave it behind.
I know, I know… …it kinda sucks that you can’t have your bad times back, so you may as well move on.
I know, trust me, we’d all really love to reminisce about how bad things were, but there’s absolutely no point.
Today, we stop waiting for tomorrow to be better. Instead, focus on stepping forwards.
As of today, you’re never looking back.
We can’t go back, so there’s absolutely no point in trying to head in that direction. Otherwise you’re heading through life waking backwards, never seeing what’s ahead.
Remembering the past as a learning opportunity is okay, but anchoring today’s beliefs on what happened to you yesterday, will only hold you back.
Live the Process
Don’t have timelines or deadlines within which something MUST happen in your life, or be completed.
Think about it for a second…
…If your personal goal was to be happily married within 2 years, how on earth do you expect to achieve such an ambiguous goal?
What if you don’t meet the right person?
What if you date someone awesome and perfect that doesn’t want to marry.
God forbid you should actually marry the wrong person for you, because you wanted to achieve your personal goal, and were relentlessly stupid and blind to reality.
Having a timeline within which is often unhealthy (unless task related and realistic).
It could just make you more frustrated if you don’t achieve your over-enthusiastic, unrealistic goal.
We all overestimate what we’re capable of, and underestimate the challenges we’ll face in the timeline.
Let’s face it, we’d all like to make our first million next year, and would love to make that happen.
A more realistic, step-by-step approach, will get you to where you need to be.
So instead of setting unrealistic goals, just do… …and do it for your own improvement of your future.
If your financial goal was to make a million, start with figuring out how to make $1,000.00.
If your goal was to meet the partner of your dreams, fall in love and get married, maybe you should just focus on dating, meeting new people, and having fun?
That environment is perfect for finding someone good for you.
Every moment you have today is being created at this very moment, and then it’s gone, so enjoying each step in the process is vitally important to your well-being.
Take the opportunity being presented to you moment-to-moment, to make everything in your future different.
After all, you never know when a surprise opportunity may come your way. If you’re not open-minded and flexible, it may pass right in front of your eyes.
You may not get to choose exactly how things go, but just go for it.
Chose today, to use every moment for making your life better.
The TWO THINGS you can choose in life are what you put into it, and having your own positive attitude.
You literally choose what mood you’re going to be in, on a moment-to-moment basis.
Consistent input with a good attitude no matter what, will never fail.
Slow positive and consistent forward motion, means you’re traveling in the right direction towards your goal, and therefore you WILL get there.
So there you have it.
Forget the past altogether, work on each step moving forwards, and for your own sake, be positive and happy while you’re doing it.
Follow this short guide and I swear, you will never fail.
You may learn a few things, and have some fun experiences, but fail or give up, you will not.
